2026 ITINERARY for Salt river trek
Day 1
Fly into Show Low Regional Airport then drive to Dos Lomas Wild Ranch - a wild mustang sanctuary and training center. Meet the trek mustangs, go on a relaxing trail ride in the beautiful White Mountains. Then enjoy a campfire dinner under the stars with story telling. Relax and prepare for the next day is a beautiful Airbnb in peaceful Snowflake, AZ.
Day 2
Have a relaxing morning sleeping in with optional yoga/meditation before breakfast. Then enjoy a scenic drive to Frazier Horse Camp in the Tonto National Forest. Picnic lunch before heading out on a trail ride in Tonto National Forest. Finish the day with a campfire dinner.
Day 3
Start the day with ranch breakfast before heading to the Salt River for some Tubing fun! Float down the Salt River, hopefully we spot some of the Salt River Wild Horses. Picnic lunch on the river. Then enjoy a late afternoon/evening trail ride at the Salt River for another chance to see the beautiful Wild Horses before ending your trip and departing home.
2026 ITINERARY for the weekender Trek
Day 1
Arrive at the Dos Lomas Wild Ranch and meet the Trek mustangs. We will enjoy a nice ride at White Mountain Trails. We will end our day around the campfire at the ranch with a home cooked campfire meal.
Day 2
In the morning we will head to Flagstaff after breakfast. On the way we will stop in famous Winslow, AZ to see the flatbed Ford and stop at the La Posada Hotel and explore the history within. We will enjoy a nice lunch there before finishing our drive and settling into our Airbnb. We will end the day doing an evening ride at the Fort Tuthill County Park.
Day 3
Optional Yoga after breakfast in the morning to start our day before heading to Sedona to ride on the trails having a picnic lunch. We will then transport you to the Flagstaff Airport to depart home. Optional to fly out of Phoenix, no transportation provided.
